DR Pro XLK34 Log Splitter
The top of the line! With splitting power equivalent to a 34-Ton hydraulic splitter, and a blazing cycle time of just 3 seconds, this is the fastest log splitter available anywhere!
Simpler - the K34 has very few moving parts to go wrong - especially compared to hydraulic splitters with their pumps, valves, pistons, hoses, and fluid.
Stronger - Twin 75 lb. flywheels spinning at 400 rpm stores energy from the K34's Overhead Valve (9.50 FPT) Briggs and Stratton engine.
Faster - energy is unleashed via a rack and pinion gear, achieving a lightning-fast, 3-second cycle time (the time it takes for the ram to split the log AND return!).
- 3-Second Cycle Time
- Outsplits any 34-Ton hydraulic
- Automatic ram retraction
- Splits logs up to 24" long x 30" diameter
- 9.5 ft-lbs torque OHV B&S Manual Start Engine
- Twin 75-lb. flywheels
- 2 Year Warranty (90 day commercial)
Product Summary
Twin 75-lb. Flywheels
The K34's 150-lb.cast-iron flywheel produce nearly 50% more momentum than our K28 Model's flywheel -- for splitting the densest, toughest logs.
Twice-Hardened Steel Pinion Gear
The Pinion Gear transfers energy from the Flywheel to the Ram. Industrial steel is case-hardened twice during manufacturing for bomb-proof durability
Briggs and Stratton Engine
The Briggs and Stratton overhead valve engine produces 9.5 ft.-lbs. of torque — plenty of power and long-life features for both home and heavy commercial use!
Auto Retraction
With ordinary splitters you have to engage the return lever until the ram is back to its starting position. The RapidFire retracts automatically, leaving your hands free to load the next piece of wood for splitting.
Road-Towable
Department of Transportation-Approved 16"diameter by 4.8" wide wheels with tapered roller bearings allow you to transport your K28 on roads at up to 45 mph (note: towing with a ball hitch requires purchase of our optional Ball Hitch Kit).
Heavy-Duty Steel Work Table
The RapidFire's steel work table means no more stooping down to pick up split logs. After a log is split, the pieces remain at a comfortable working height, so there's no need to bend down to retrieve them for a second split.
